For us, the Bowen family, it seems that “thing” – that “golden thread” – running throughout our marriage and ministry has always involved hospitality. Hospitality to family, friends, and neighbors, but also to strangers. Early on in our marriage, we prayed, “Lord, bring whom You will,” and He did, directing people from all over the world through our home. We launched A Candle in the Window Hospitality Network in late 2011 to help facilitate biblical hospitality within the body of Christ that others might enjoy the same blessing.

In addition to being the founders of A Candle in the Window Hospitality Network, Craig and Theresa serve full-time with the organization Oasis Rest International, hosting customized pastoral care retreats on their farm for pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders.
